Introducing
Experience overseeing large, powerful dogs like Mastiffs, smaller dogs with attitude like Dachshunds, senior dogs and puppies: they all require gentle, but firm, patient and loving supervision.
Your pets thrive on familiarity and routine. We match your schedule and habits, such as, where you walk your dog for their comfort and happiness while you are away. We also learn commands your dog is familiar with so training can remain consistent.
Well versed in many aspects of horse care; my experience include responsibilities as horse owner, caretaker, barn manager, trainer assistant, instructor and trail guide with public and private stables.
I maintain safe handling of stallions, mares, colts and, of course, geldings. I recognize symptoms of life-threatening colic, a horse cast in a stall or lameness. However, I also know the timing can be critical when needing the services of a veterinarian professional.
"Horses with their beauty and gentle spirits, have always held an endless fascination for me. "

Arriving in San Francisco in 1984, a friend encouraged me to provide security and gardening for her large, ranch-style home in San Rafael, CA. Loving care for her independent and shy cat was also needed. Cathy was going away on an 8 month work assignment in Alaska and she needed a live-in caretaker and pet sitter immediately. I was delighted with the joys and responsibilities of this experience. This was my jump start to seek similar opportunities providing loving care. When Cathy
returned her cat was very friendly and more responsive to a loving hand. Her home and garden looking great; she recommended me highly to her friends and neighbors. Now, over 25 years later, offering reliable services for home owners with pets, gardens and ranchers with horses and livestock throughout Sonoma and Marin County remains a great pleasure.
Born on a 62 acre farm in Ohio, I was raised with solid Midwestern roots and values; genuine, authentic and forthright.
My growing up on our farm established a love for animals at a very young age. Cattle, a thousand chickens in the pasture, horses in the paddock, and always a family dog or two; there were plenty of animals to take care of and enjoy. It became "my second nature" to love, feed and care for their daily needs.
In art school, a strong desire to photograph nature and affinity for technical skills required for cameras and their equipment developed. Establishing a professional career in photography, business travels allowed me to relocate to the expansive
landscapes of Northern California, an artist's paradise.
